Prayer for Peace 25/01/2026

“Let us pray.

We pray for all people who are outside the security of peace and stability. Battle zones are so numerous, and those suffering are often innocent bystanders in the conflicts that rage around them. They are often left without shelter, water, health, and educational opportunity. They are at the mercy of those warring around them. We pray that cease-fires may become a reality – that leaders will seek genuine peace rather than vengeance or reprisal. Amen”

This prayer was prepared by Dernancourt Uniting Church as part of Uniting in Prayer 2024 and became part of the Prayer for Others prayed in our church last Sunday.
